Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas presents #SaturdayisGalleryDay A CADD SPONSORED EVENT Saturday, March 4th, 2023 Kick-off at 10 am For Immediate ReleaseThe Contemporary Art Dealers of Dallas, aka CADD, is excited to announce their newest campaign, “Saturday is Gallery Day,” a drive to shake off our cultural slumber after the pandemic and appreciate what the Dallas galleries have to offer. The Art Walk is scheduled for Saturday, March 4th, 2023. CADD members will host varying events to showcase their program and cultural contribution to the Dallas Art Scene.The event begins at 10:00 a.m. at Valley House Gallery and Sculpture Garden. The day will be filled with an art hopping tour through Dallas as each gallery will host time-slotted events lasting about 30 minutes. These events will consist of Artist’s performances, talks, Director’s tours and will conclude with a personal tour and wine hour at the Dallas Contemporary, in the Design District. Follow our schedule of events throughout the day or feel free to create your own gallery day journey by visiting one, two, or more CADD galleries of your choosing (CADD Galleries will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.).This will be an opportunity to learn about what the CADD members have to offer and get an in-person impression of the fiber of the city. As the pandemic is drawing to a close, this Texas city has proven more versatile and adaptive to change in its growing urbanization. The Gallery scene is playing a large part in this growth as Dallas is establishing itself as a cultural hub.On March 4th we are not just celebrating this Saturday exclusively as an active culture day, but a beginning of, as oncoming Saturdays will see a host of many cultural events at these individual galleries.
