RAL Welcomes Katherine Martinez, Demo Artist of the Month
Meet award-winning artist, Katherine Martinez, and enjoy an evening of inspiration at the upcoming March Rockwall Art League Meeting. The event features a live demonstration of the artist’s oil pastel techniques and will take place on March 23rd from 6:00 to 8:30pm at Harry Myers Community Center, 815 E. Washington St., Rockwall, TX 75087. The evening is free of charge and open to all.
Katherine is a rising star, receiving multiple top awards and honors including Scottsdale Artist School Best of Show, 1st Place in Pastels, Scholarship Member of the Salmagundi Club, NY. and Southwest Magazine’s “21 under 31”— just a few of her many accomplishments. She enjoys painting from life, be it Plein air, live model or still life and finds a balance between classical techniques and contemporary aesthetics.
