The city of Sugar Land, Texas requests artists or artist teams submit a statement of qualifications, letter of interest and other materials for three light-based sculptures to be displayed in the city of Sugar Land, Texas. The project is called Nectar Nights.
Total artwork budget for Nectar Nights is $165,000. The artist(s) receiving this commission will be paid $55,000 per sculpture. A single artist (or team) could receive one, two or three sculpture commissions.

2022 Old Town Keller Rotating Sculpture Program

Budget: $1,500 honorarium shall be awarded for each piece for the installation, exhibition and removal of the artwork for a two-year period. One-half of the stipend will be provided to the artist upon selection and the remainder shall be paid upon successful installation. The existing 5’x5’ concrete pads shall be used for display and the City of Keller may provide some assistance with installation and removal of the artwork. One Best in Show winner shall be awarded an additional $500.
In 2017, the Keller Public Arts Board implemented a rotating public art program for outdoor sculptures in the newly updated Old Town Keller area. A $1,500 honorarium is available for each piece selected by the Board for the sixth year of the program. The City of Keller invested over $4 million in improvements for the Old Town location, including the construction of a linear pedestrian promenade, addition of outdoor seating and community areas and installation of 11 concrete sculpture pads. Old Town is home to an eclectic blend of restaurants and small businesses that attract a variety of visitors and provide great exposure for art in the area. For 2022, the Board will select up to 6 sculptures for a two-year exhibit beginning in June 2022. The Artwork will be for sale for the duration of the exhibit with a 25% commission collected by the City of Keller. The selected artists will be recognized at the fifth annual Keller Art Walk on November 12, 2022.

The Woodlands Arts Council invites local, national and international artists to apply for the next installation of the Woodlands Public Art outdoor permanent collection located in The Woodlands, Texas, USA.
Phase V of this public art project will feature six (6) individual new art benches and six (6) individual new bike racks to be installed along The Woodlands Waterway adjacent to The Cynthia Woods-Mitchell Pavilion (Ranked #3 Best Music & Outdoor amphitheater in the world) and in the Hughes Landing mixed-use upscale “lifestyle” development adjacent to Lake Woodlands.
The art bench or art bike rack must be an original piece created for The Woodlands Arts Council Public Art competition.
Each of the ART BENCH finalists will receive $8,000 for bench selected and installed. Each of the ART BIKE RACK finalists will receive $4,000 for the bike rack selected and installed.
Entry fee is $40 for first design, $5 fee per design for additional designs: up to three designs per location.

Remarque Print Workshop Residency 2022

Remarque Print Workshop is offering an opportunity for 6 printmakers from across the state and country to come to Albuquerque, NM to use our non-toxic printmaking facility for a week-long residency. Applicants are expected to have prior printmaking knowledge but need not be familiar with the non-toxic Akua inks and etching process.
Selected artists will have complete and 24 hour access to our 3,000 sq. foot studio including six Takach presses, use of our Akua inks, exposure unit, plate cutter, etching tanks etc.
We hope to bring six diverse printmakers together for a week, to foster their creative process and to forge new relationships with printmakers from different parts of the country. We are looking for printmakers who can work independently, and we welcome those artists who want to explore new techniques and processes as well as those who want the opportunity to focus intensively on one project.
