The Grapevine Art Project (GAP) is a well-established community of more than 70 artists from Grapevine, Texas and surrounding areas, who love to create, enjoy, and learn about art. The Grapevine Art Project is open to artists who work in any media. Our monthly meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M. unless otherwise posted. Join us for our social gathering before the meeting for refreshments and conversations at 6:30.
The meeting will be held at the Bessie Mitchell House in Grapevine at 411 Ball Street. The Social gathering will start at 6:30 and the general meeting will begin at 7:00. After any GAP business, the program will be turned over to Paul Benson, whose program is titled Beyond the Square. Below is a description of his presentation.
Square: Beyond the Swipe
The tools we use for processing sales offer a lot… my talk will cover and how I leverage the ‘free’ functions within Square.
Specifically, I will briefly cover apps available to process sales. Next I will discuss the pros and cons of 3 different card entry methods (manual, swipe, and chip readers.) Then a detailed look at Square’s product library and how I use the resulting statistics.
Finally, we will discuss Square items within categories and what I have learned using these functions.
The meetings are open to the public so all are welcome.
