Guest Artist: Bev Boren
Bev Boren was born and raised in Texas and now resides in Trophy Club, Texas with her husband Ben. She is a signature member of the Outdoor Painters Society and the Southwestern Watercolor Society. She is also a member of the Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, and AmericanWatercolor Society.
Her work is primarily the result of her need to paint. Inspiration can come at any time and in any place. She is not confined to one subject area. She loves to paint a variety of subject matter as well as working in various mediums. Bev’s paintings are created with things that capture her eye whether it’s a still life, landscape, or capturing a person’s personality. Painting is her way of connecting with the world and the people around her and sharing those experiences along the way.
In her words “Trying to describe or explain my efforts at painting or drawing seems like a futile effort. After all, I want my work to express itself without the necessity of words. My best hope is that my work will stand simply on it’s own, and find a connection with viewers where words fail”.

Trinity Arts Guild (TAG) is open to area artists and art lovers. We embrace artists working in any medium. The Guild was formed in 1961 to help both professional and amateur artists explore, develop and expand their creative talents. Our purpose is to advance the cultural environment of the metroplex by making and displaying fine and applied arts. We accomplish this through a program of encouragement and instruction for people of all ages. It is further accomplished by display and promotion of member works both at our guild gallery and at area public forums. Youth art competition, scholarships and instructional programs ensure that cultural growth continues into the future.
We extend an invitation to visit the gallery, buy art directly from member artists, and to take advantage of the services we offer the visual arts community. TAG provides its members gallery displays, art competitions and free demonstrations. We participate in the annual Bedford Arts Festival in Boys Ranch Park. In addition, members participate in local exhibits, art education, and networking.
