November 21 – Handmade Books
The meeting will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 970 Coit Road in Prosper. Enter on the north side of the building. This is 2 miles north of Hwy 380 on Coit Road just before Prosper Trails. Visitors are welcome.http://www.visualartsofprosper.org/
Sherry will present a folded art book project and teach us how to make one that you will be able to take home. These little folded booklets are great for notes, collecting tickets and ephemera as you travel, and many other uses. They also make great little gifts and stocking stuffers.
Members, don’t forget to bring your ART OF THE MONTH. Since we are not meeting in December, there will be Gift Certificate for first AND second place winners.
From 6-6:30 we will have ‘’show and tell’’ with Sue and Sherry and others who have something to share. This is also critique time, so bring your artwork.
