Meredith Pardue: Between Mars & Venus

BETWEEN MARS & VENUS

Dallas Design District gallery, Laura Rathe Fine Art, announces a solo exhibition featuring new works by Texas artist, Meredith Pardue. LRFA will be hosting the opening reception on Saturday, November 23rd, from 5:00-8:00pm with an artist talk at 6:45pm, moderated by gallery owner, Laura Rathe.

In Pardue’s latest exhibition, the works aim to bring a sense of the familiar. For Pardue, that is going back to her original roots in painting. Bringing back the layering of translucent forms and a focus on natural colors, Pardue channels humanity’s home, Earth. Calling on the colors of bodies of water, precious stones, flora, and lush landscapes, she creates a series of paintings which inspire tranquility and peace.

Between Mars and Venus is an homage to the many magical forms of life and nature here on Earth.  In this body of work, Pardue honors and celebrates all that we can see and feel—our waters, our landscapes, our ecosystems and all that comprise them.

Between Mars & Venus will be on display through January 4th, 2020.
