Your Private Collection in Granbury, Texas is pleased to present featured artist Sheri Jones for their Last Saturday Gallery Night, hosted monthly by the Galleries of Granbury, on July 27th, 6-8pm.
Sheri Jones is a landscape and still life palette knife painter, educated under Opal Palmer, Pam Ingalls, Bob Rohm, Jill Carver, Betty Carr, Marc Hanson, Laurie Pace, Niki Gulley, and James Spurlock. She has been Selected Artist for six solo shows, been Featured Artist 15 times, participated in plein air events and multiple group shows, and been the featured artist in 4 publications.
Sheri says, “I work in an impressionistic style using oil paints on canvas or board. I use a palette knife to build up color and texture. Many of my paintings are inspired from painting on location. My current body of work is from observing the Texas sky and landscape.”
