4TH ANNUAL ART AID EXPO Saturday, June 15, 2019, 1:00–6:00 PM in the Fort Worth Community Arts Center galleries The Fort Worth Community Arts Center, in conjunction with Art Tooth, is proud to present the 4th annual Art Aid Expo for artists and arts organizations. Demonstrations and seminars will be geared towards artists, art non-profits and other creative professionals and will highlight the diverse support services available to them. Featured organizations and professionals will present their expertise through a variety of workshops and seminars, helping artists to learn how to sustain a living in the arts.
FIGURE AND ABSTRACT FIGURE WORKSHOP WITH ALISON ALDRICH AND MARY MORGAN June 7th and 8th, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Students
will study through observation drawing the figure from a live model
using a variety of drawing mediums: graphite pencil, charcoal, and any
other drawing mediums are welcome to encourage experimentation.
Students
will learn how to create an abstract painting by using the drawing
information from the first session. The process will involve collage,
redrawing, and the use of color theory to develop an abstract figure
painting.
