The Characterization of Portraiture features the work of TCU portrait photography students. The show runs April 18 through May 1, 2019. There will be a reception with the artists on April 24, 2019, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
You can also join us for Zenith on May 10, 2019, between6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The exhibition features work by Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts’ senior students. The show runs May 7 through May 11, 2019.
Art Room’s inaugural juried exhibition Now | Contemporary 2019 opens May 16, 2019, in conjunction with May Third Thursdays. Join us along with our South Main Village neighbors between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm to enjoy all kinds of art and fun activities.

| Classes & Workshops Art Room is thrilled to announce a new workshop at the Art Room Annex! James Zamora is instructing a Floral Oil Painting Workshop that focuses on the use of oil paint on panel to create beautiful and colorful floral paintings. The two-day workshop is April 27th and 28th. Participants will learn basic oil painting techniques to help them understand value and color through small, simple painting exercises. | make ROOM for ART this summer!! Art Room is excited to offer summer camps for youth artists at the Art Room Annex from June through mid-August 2019. Summer camp sessions meet Monday through Friday either in the morning or the afternoon. We are so thrilled to provide an inspiring space for our community of young artists to create, explore, and imagine. Summer camps include several visual arts processes such as printmaking, collage, design, sculpture, and fibers. Local DFW artists and educators teach the sessions, including Courtney Googe, Mandy Metts, Katie Murray, and Adam Palmer.
