| Unique by Nature Juried Art Competition and Exhibition Opening Awards Reception April 6th, 7pm McKinney Performing Arts Center (Awards announced before 8pm, Ruschhaupt Hall) This is a beautiful evening of art, open and free to the public. The Purchase Prize will be announced, and will be added to the McKinney Performing Art Center’s permanent collection of art by contemporary Texas artists. The Juried Art Competition and Exhibition fills MPAC’s Art Gallery (Lower Level) with art submitted by North Texas Artists. Several awards will be announced. This year submissions will be juried and judged by Karl Buchberg, retired Senior Curator, The Modern Museum of Art, and J. Patrick Cooney, J. Patrick Cooney Fine Arts The exhibition of this fine art will continue through April 27th.. |
