Flower Mound Heritage Park Nature Trail: reception for BRONZE ANIMALS on March 30

“I think I have been making art and teaching my whole life. Being a Ceramics Professor at Tarrant County College on the Northeast Campus allows me to use some of my wild ideas and promote art in the community. Clay and bronze are the media of choice although the inspirations divine what materials I choose. Ceramic or metal, intimate dishes, functional sculpture, or site-specific installations may be serious or whimsical inspirations, but all explore expression and process and place.” — sculptor Sweety Bowman of Yarmoth Studio in Flower Mound. For more information about the sculptor, see her website http://karmienbowman.com

There will be a public reception for Heritage Park Nature Trail on March 30, 2019, 10 AM. See Bowman’s lifesize wild animals in bronze — Coyote, Bobcat, Armadillo. The bronze sculptures are part of Heritage Park Phase IV, a $1.5 million project. The wildlife encounter nature trail is going to be a great feature of Phase IV.
