British painter Graham Berry’s paintings are in the homes of collectors in the USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe. As Graham Berry says, “ My paintings are inspired by the effect of light and shadow on our environment, creating dynamic shapes and colours, I especially enjoy painting people going about their everyday lives.”
Berry has been a professional artist for over 40 years. In his workshops, he uses his experience to teach others how to create incredible watercolors of their own using “every day scenes” from around the world. Graham studied Graphic Design at Blackpool College of Art and Illustration at Wimbledon College of Art, London. After graduating in 1971 Graham was employed as an illustrator for a design studio in Soho, London. Until 1990, he worked as a full-time consultant illustrator winning a DADA award for his Illustrations and also being featured in several Association of Illustrators annuals. He has now retired from commercial art and is focusing on his first love, watercolor painting. He has a striking style with vibrant and exciting colors intended to draw the eye into the painting itself.
