Please join us on Saturday, March 9, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., when we will shine the spotlight on the work of extraordinary up-and-coming local artists Jessica Medina, Courtney Peace, Deborah Hartigan-Viestenz and Marthalee. The celebration will include live music, light bites and elegant wines from Wine Ambassador.
Mexico native and contemporary abstract artist Jessica Medina has been featured in multiple art exhibitions and has been recognized internationally as an artist who is heavily influenced by her multicultural experiences. She enjoys experimenting with various mediums and techniques.
Oak Cliff-born and raised contemporary artist Courtney Peace began his journey into fine art while serving time for a crime he did not commit. He works with a mix of oils and acrylics and uses only his fingers to paint. He says he loves the feeling of creating with his bare hands.
New England-born contemporary abstract artist Deborah Hartigan Viestenz began painting in oils at the age of 10. She is known for her large-scale, multimedia abstract paintings that seek to translate nature into feelings.
Dallas-based jewelry designer Marthalee utilizes her expertise in a variety of creative mediums, including silversmithing, weaving, ceramics and bronze sculpture to fulfill her artistic vision. Her stunning pieces are truly works of art.
The cost to attend this event is $10 per person. Reservations can be made at www.friscofineart.com or by calling 214-872-1719. Frisco Fine Art is located at 7227 Main Street, Suite 400, Frisco, Texas 75034.
