juergen strunck prints: no secrets
Solo Exhibition of New Works
Opening Wed, Mar 6. 7:00 – 11:00 p.m.
On view: March 6 – 31, 2019
The Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery is proud to announce the opening of juergen strunck prints: no secrets, a solo exhibition of recent works by Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Printmaking Juergen Strunck. Strunck’s prints are well known for their luminous gradients of color, complex geometric shapes, and exquisite symmetrical arrangements. Lesser known is precisely how the prints are made.
To coincide with Texchange, this year’s Southern Graphics Council International Conference in Dallas, Strunck is sharing all by exhibiting his prints alongside some of the tools and materials he used to make them. Strunck taught printmaking at the University of Dallas from 1968 to 2014 and is being honored by the SGCI for his important contributions to the field with the North Texas Innovation in Printmaking award.
juergen strunck prints: no secrets opens Wednesday, March 6, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and runs through March 31, 2019.
