Art Night at The Parlor – Gallery Exhibition featuring artwork by artists of The Stewpot Art Program who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness

Sheraton Dallas presents Art Night at The Parlor, a curated gallery showcase featuring artwork from artists of The Stewpot Art Program, at the hotel’s upscale lounge, The Parlor. This free, public event provides a unique chance to view and purchase original pieces, with 90% of the proceeds going directly to the artists. The remaining 10% will help support The Stewpot Art Program, funding essential supplies and field trips for the artists. 

 

The event will begin at 6:00 pm and last until 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 27.  Refreshments will be served, and beverages are available for purchase. Attendance is complimentary. The Stewpot is a community ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, offering a safe haven for homeless and at-risk individuals of Dallas and providing resources for basic survival needs and opportunities to start a new life. The Stewpot Art Program provides a vital creative outlet for individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, offering them a safe space to produce artwork, access supplies, and receive guidance from supportive mentors. The program fosters self-expression and encourages participants to find their voice through art, which can serve as a critical tool for emotional healing and personal growth.
