Contemporary landscapes contaminated by our modern world. The exhibition features 40 works primarily executed in either watercolor or encaustic across a variety of sizes. The compositions simultaneous delight and dismay the eye. Though the landscapes are beautifully rendered the paintings are populated by refuse. The exhibition threads a fine line between enjoying the landscape and ruing the prevailing polluted condition.
