Meet the 2022 Arts Fort Worth – Emerging Resident Artist, Sarita Westrup
Sarita is an artist and contemporary basket weaver originally from the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. Through the use of reed, cement, and woven sculptural techniques her work explores themes of tension, movement, and containment, joins and permeable space, and the bi-cultural aesthetics of her home.
