New Lapidary Workshops were a Big Hit!Our Metals Department’s recently-added Lapidary Workshops were a huge success! Attendees had a great time learning lapidary techniques using specialized equipment for cutting and polishing a gemstone. The workshops introduced students to the exciting art of turning a rough slab of mineral into a gemstone cabochon ready to be set into a stunning piece of handcrafted jewelry. |
