Join Dallas Center for Photography as we look for new ways to view and appreciate architecture around downtown Dallas. We will consider different ways of photographing structures, including fully walking around the building to look for surprises and to examine how it changes the photography narrative. We will also discuss how sunlight affects the photography ideas we get and the quality of our architectural shots.
Instructor Nikola Olic is highly regarded structural photographer and has been featured in New York Times, The Washington Post, BBC News, and The Dallas Morning News. He will also be presenting his work at DCP on Thursday, February 24. For more information and registration, click here.
This class series is for all levels of photographers using any camera – smartphone, DSLR, mirrorless, film.
We’ll start this three-part class series with an in-person class at Dallas Center for Photography. We’ll then head to downtown Dallas immediately following the class for the photo walk. Our instructor will be there to answer questions, offer suggestions, and give some feedback on your photos. After the photo walk, attendees will be able to walk around the area independently.
Please bring a mask for instances when you are near your fellow photographers.
A few days after the photo walk, we’ll meet ONLINE via Zoom for an image review of your photos.
