(DENTON, TEXAS) Artists Enclave collaborates with the Greater Denton Arts Council to invite the public to Pathways – A Collection of Films, a special event celebrating the art of filmmaking on Thursday, January 27th, 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
The Patterson-Appleton Arts Center located at 400 East Hickory Street offers ample parking and accessibility. There is no evening admission fee. Youth and adult film enthusiasts will view short films directed by Denton filmmakers: Charlie Collier, Susan Carol Davis, Claire DeJarnett, Anthony Najera and Skip Schipper. Question and answer time with the filmmakers is planned following the screenings. Come claim your bag of popcorn!
The short films for the Pathways program are:
- Documentary Al on Earth featuring Al Key’s photography in stormy North Texas. Directors: Susan Carol Davis, Claire DeJarnett
- Documentary Turtle Bay raising awareness ofMexico’s endangered sea turtles. Director: Charlie Collier
- Narrative Game Point spotlighting a youth basketball enthusiast
