The Gainesville Area Visual Arts is looking for artists in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma to submit art for their Fall Art Exhibition. https://www.gainesvilleareavisualarts.org/fallartshow (see info & entry forms)
High on Life is the theme for this year’s annual show. The theme is wide open to interpretation. Artists in all visual mediums are encouraged to submit their art from traditional to ‘way out there’ – 2 or 3 dimensional – it’s all welcome! This is an open show. Original art only – that has not been shown in the GAVA Fall Art Exhibition in the last four years. GAVA reserves the right to exclude any art deemed inappropriate.

4 Entries Maximum – Entry fees due at delivery. Cash/Check/Card GAVA members $15 per entry – Non GAVA members $20 per entry

Gainesville Area Visual Arts will be presenting awards in four categories Traditional, Contemporary, 3D & Photography/Digital Art
This year’s GAVA judge is renown artist John Cook. There will also be a Theme prize, Best of Show and a People Choice Award. Local businesses will present their own unique awards & prize money. New this year is the Breaking the Mold Deaver Art Award
in honor of Sylvia & Earl Deaver. This award will be judged by Sylvia & Earl’s daughter & granddaughter. Gainesville Area Visual Arts and our annual Fall Art Exhibition would simply not exist without the Deaver’s and we will also have a display of all their fabulous art at the show!
