Let’s create something extraordinary combining techniques in collage, de-collage, assemblage and embellishments from a selection of books, boxes, tins, canvas and other non-traditional surfaces.
Altered objects allow you to modify the dimensions of art in various degrees of texture, color and visual complexity. Instructors will provide a selection of objects and embellishments along with step-by step instructions on application, structure and completion.
In this workshop, we will explore the creative process of recycling by using innovative means to create a fabulous piece of art.

12-2pm
August 1 – Intro to Altered Books
August 8 – Altered Books – Pop up and Inserts
August 15 – Altered Book Sculpting
August 22 – Altered Objects

Who can attend?
Adults and children age 7 years and older welcome. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult.
Limited to 15 participants at each workshop.
