Celebrate PRIDE and Juneteenth with the arts in Fort Worth!

A message from the Arts Council of Fort Worth, Fort Worth Community Arts Center and Fort Worth Public Art
New Stories: New Futures at Pioneer Tower is a uniquely Fort Worth art event featuring historic and modern perspectives, stories, and memories from the community. Artworks projected onto Pioneer Tower were created by internationally renowned artists Refik Anadol and Quayola, and explore memories of Fort Worth and the region’s natural beauty.   The Arts Council of Fort Worth and AURORA present a public exhibition, curated by Dr. Lauren Cross, featuring works by North Texas artists who work with New Media Art. Celebrate Juneteenth at the Arts Center!
Celebrate Juneteenth with Ms. Opal Lee and Unity Unlimited with art exhibitions at the Arts Center! The 12 Freedoms Gained Art Exhibition is on view now through July 17 with a reception on June 25 from 2-4 p.m. The galleries do have occupation limits to encourage social distancing. If the gallery reaches capacity, we encourage attendees to visit the courtyard gallery or one of the eight indoor galleries.
You can also learn more about Ms. Opal Lee and her campaign to make Juneteenth a national holiday by watching the Arts Center’s Boxed Lunch episode. Originally airing last July, Opal talks about growing up in Fort Worth and her continuing efforts to get Juneteenth national recognition.
