The Gardiner Gallery of Art in the Department of Art, Graphic Design, and Art History at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, announces a Call for Artists and exhibition proposals for the 2022 – 2023 academic year.
The mission of the Gardiner Gallery of Art is to inspire and enhance the educational opportunities for the OSU community and Central Oklahoma through the presentation of art exhibitions enriched by public programs.
The gallery has approximately 2,000 square feet of floor space and 175 linear feet of wall space. Prior exhibitions can be viewed on the OSU Department of Art and the Gardiner Gallery website https://art.okstate.edu/gardiner-gallery/gardiner-art-gallery.
A gallery committee made up of faculty and students will review the submissions with the goal of filling 2 exhibitions for the 2022 – 2023 academic year.
Selected artists will have a 4 – 5-week solo exhibition in the Gardiner Gallery. All media will be considered including 2D, 3D, sound, performance, and installation.
Artists MFA’s or equivalent experience preferred.
Due date for submissions is April 9, 2021.
There is no entry fee.

Submissions should include the following:
- Cover letter describing the proposed exhibition with a related educational/community program or workshop opportunity.
- Artist Resume, include artist’s website, e-mail, and phone number
- Artist statement
- Portfolio of 7-10 images representing work to be exhibited. Include titles, medium, size/description, and year. An image list is not required if this text is embedded.
