| The Arts in Action Arts Funding is Imperative to Economic Recovery! |
| Through the stewardship of the Texans for the Arts and the Texas Cultural Trust, arts advocates from across the state joined together to give an impassioned plea to our State Representatives and Senators in Austin to continue to FUND THE ARTS! Starting on Tuesday 9th, virtual meetings have been taking the place of walking the halls of the State Capital but have been no less effective. We are sharing the great work you are doing to bring the arts to our community and to care for our creative workforce. Thank you for providing us your stories and data that demonstrate the people’s need for art in everyday life and the toll the pandemic has inflicted on our industry. As the 87th Legislature moves closer to the final vote on the biennium budget, it’s not too late for your voice to be heard. Please join us by reaching out to your representatives and let them know how much the arts mean to you. Texans for the Arts has made advocacy easy!
