Artist Statement
Glow Forest is a serene and colorful jungle environment that offers an escape from winter and the turmoil of 2020. As a place of quiet meditation, viewers will be invited to look inside an empty storefront to discover a quiet place of meditation, solace, and inspiration. This piece is part of a series presented in storefronts as a response to the shuttering of small businesses in the wake of the pandemic and social unrest.
