Diana Beck Abstracts Exhibition at ArtCentre Plano

The ArtCentre is thrilled to announce our new exhibition featuring the splendid works of Plano Artist Diana Beck. As an artist, Diana enjoys the process of using the perfect combination of colors and meticulously blending them to create beautiful images on canvas. At her studio in Plano, Beck works with oils to paint landscapes, seascapes and abstract art. According to Suzy Jones, Executive Director of the ArtCentre of Plano, “Diana masterfully creates a feeling of serenity and mystery through her exquisite use of color. Her works would add immeasurably to any collection as they combine both abstraction and reality.”

The Diana Beck Exhibition Will Run from Nov. 21, 2020 – Jan. 23, 2021
Diana says, ” My inspiration comes from my daughter who lives in California and is a very successful artist. I’ve watched her career progress for 18 years, and she has definitely been an inspiration.”

The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday at the ArtCentre of Plano at the Saigling House, 902 E. 16th St., Plano. Please wear and mask and practice social distancing.

Plano Art Association member, Diana Beck is now exhibiting a collection of 29 of her works at ArtCentre of Plano.   Diana’s large paintings are characterized by highly designed gradated bands of dramatic spatial atmospheric horizontal layers.   As an artist, Diana Beck enjoys the process of using the perfect combination of colors and meticulously blending them to create beautiful images on canvas. She finds painting a challenging, rewarding and inspiring experience. At her studio in Plano, she works with oils to paint landscapes, seascapes and abstract art. 

 She has studied under professional artists Tricia Strickfaden of Manhattan Beach CA and Anne Royer of McKinney.    As a member of the Plano Art Association, she continues to take every opportunity to learn from other artists and discover more ways to expand her vision. As a current Board member in the PAA she contributes to the advancement of art in her community.   ​Three of her works were selected for the Plano Art Associations Global Reflections Show in 2017, a multicultural art exhibit at the Gallery Courtyard in Plano. She exhibited in the 125 Art Show at the Eisemann Center in Richardson and the Global Reflections 2018 Show at the Plano International Festival. In 2019 her exhibits included the 125 Art Show and the Plano Art and Wine Walk. ​

Her solo exhibit at ArtCentre of Plano will continue though Jan 23rd 2021. Hours are 10:00 am till 5:00 pm Tuesdays though Saturdays.
