Dallas Metro Arts Contemporary is hosting it’s inaugural juried exhibition series, beginning with the artists selected for the 2D National, running from June 1 through June 27. A closing reception will be held June 27 at the studio/gallery, located at 1412 14th St, Plano TX, from 6-9pm.
The juror, Director of Galleries at Collin College, Julie Shipp, selected 55 artworks from 28 states, from 415 entries. The show, open nationally to artists in all mediums, runs the full range from realism to expressionism and non-objective two-dimensional works, including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, and computer art. Prizes include $1000 for the First place artwork.
