Luminous
Tammy Gilchrest and Pete Quaid

Friday, June 5 & 12, 7-9pm
Saturday, June 6 & 13, 6-9pm
With lush glazes and exquisite brushwork, Gilchrest and Quaid address the mysterium of natural light.  Quaid is perpetually lost in the wonder of the skies and trees, the rivers and rocks, of his native Texas.  Gilchrest, on the other hand, journeys into mythic landscapes, which sometimes emerge as abstracted gems.  This exhibit marks the reopening of The Cove. Visitors are requested to wear masks, observe social distancing, and BYOB.  The show will be held over two weekends.

McKinney and Me
Kanyi Muraguri
Friday, June 19, 6 – 9 pm, Artist Talk 8pm
Saturday, June 20, 6 – 9 pm, Artist Talk 8pm

This gallery show of the work of McKinney photographer Kanyi Muraguri displays images of the city of McKinney that span 7 years.  These images reveal the city in exquisite candor and are an exploration of this city’s past and present as well as its angst and beauty.

Journey Back to Abstract
Kevin Megison

Saturday, June 27  6pm-9pm
Sunday, June 28  11am-3pm

Many years ago, Megison was introduced to abstract art while attending the University of Southwestern, LA.  He began his career in advertising design and would circle back to abstract art one day.  Leap forward forty years and now that one day is this day.
