We are the only museums open in Dallas.
Current exhibitions include Andy Warhol: Jewish Heroes and Marc Chagall: Memory and Tradition.
Permanent installations featured are the Michelangelo Experience and the life-size Resurrection Mural.
Due to unprecedented events, museums all across the country have been closed. We are excited to announce that the Museum of Biblical Art and the National Center for Jewish Art in Dallas are now open to the general public! Keeping with the state and county safety guidelines, visitors can now experience these incredible galleries. Currently, these are the only museums open in the City of Dallas.
Featuring 14 display areas, the museum exhibits artwork connecting with Biblical themes and approaches like Renaissance Sculpture, Contemporary Jewish Art, Ancient Maps of Israel and the Holy Land, Illuminated Manuscripts, Art Glass Exhibitions, Contemporary Mosaics, Holocaust Art and Illustration. Special galleries and spaces are installed such as the European Art Treasury, the Illustration Gallery, the Glass Institute and the Art Conservation Laboratory.
Current exhibitions include Andy Warhol: Jewish Heroes and Icons, Bernie Taupin: American Anthem, the Michelangelo Encounter and Marc Chagall: Memory and Tradition. Permanent installations are featured such as the life-size Resurrection Mural of Jesus and the Prophets, the Menorah Experience, the Tapestry of the Centuries History Mural and the outdoor ‘Walk Where Jesus Walked’ Via Dolorosa monumental bronze sculptures.
