Denton’s Thin Line Photography Festival Extends Submission Deadline
International Competition Gives Applicants Extra Week to Submit Work
Denton, TX — Thin Line Festival has extended its Art Call deadline to Sunday, February 9, 2020. The competitive international photography festival takes place in Denton from March 25-29, 2020, and is open to all ages and nationalities.
Selected photographs will be professionally printed and exhibited at one of the festival galleries. All selected artists are provided a VIP pass to the festival, which offers special access to all programming and to the Green Room, a festival venue complete with local cuisine and adult beverages.

Landscape/Cityscape/Seascape
Wildlife/Nature
Lifestyle/Editorial/Photo-Illustration
Sports/Action/Events
Travel
A “Best of Category” photograph will be selected in each category by a panel of expert photographers. This year’s panel will feature acclaimed Dallas photogaphers, Mike Brooks and Jason Janik. Winners will receive a $500 check. First runners-up will receive free submissions to the 2021 festival.
2018 winner Susan Edgley says, “I have learned so much from participating in Thin Line’s photography contest. The final works that are selected for exhibition are extraordinary and beautifully displayed, inviting the viewer to explore up close and reflect.”
