Monthly Meeting December 2nd. The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm this Monday, December 2nd at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce. VISITORS ARE WELCOME!
Program:
We are pleased to have Artist Amy Stephens as our presenter. Amy is a painter, a sculptor, a metalsmith a glass artist and a muralist. She is currently a full time artist and MFA Glass student at UTA. Examples of her work are attached. Her art is influenced by nature. She uses vibrant color and light-hearted imagery to illustrate both whimsical and serious ideas. She also likes to address important issues such as environmental pollution and oppressive social situations. You can see more about her at www.astephensart.com .
Business Meeting – There will be a short business meeting before the program. We will discuss our merger with the Grand Prairie Arts Council and other issues.
The next meeting will be on Monday, February 3rd. There will be no meeting in January.
