Carolyn Sortor: Artist Talk by Moss/Chumley Award Winner Nov. 7

Moss/Chumley Artist Talk Thursday, November 7, 6:00 p.m.
This lecture is part of the 2018 Moss/Chumley North Texas Artist Award winner Carolyn Sortor’s presentation of work at the Meadows Museum this fall. Sortor’s work uses video, relational practices, and other media to explore dimensionality, relationality, and systems, with an eye toward the socio-political. An “activation” of one of her works on display, “Private Public Squares,” will happen at 5:30 on the plaza, followed by the talk at 6 in the auditorium. Free; reservations required at 214.768.8587.
