Art Room is pleased to announce its inaugural fundraiser make ROOM for ART [an art auction]. All proceeds benefit Art Room and our vision to transform our Fort Worth visual arts community by making room for art. The fundraiser will include a fun-filled night of refreshments, live and silent auctions, and entertainment. We are embracing the time of year, as well, and using a Día de los Muertos theme!

We are raising funds to support our Supplementary Arts Education Programming. The arts are a significant part of youth education. Students who have at least one art class are more likely to attend school and exhibit increased academic performance. Through arts education, students develop self-confidence, critical thinking skills, and a personal voice.
Funds will go towards direct and indirect costs to support our Supplementary Arts Education Programs which work with young artists to create art-integrated programming that enriches and enhances students’ learning. Projects enable students to develop studio and technical skills in the visual arts and are culturally relevant and community-oriented.
Art Room Supplementary Arts Education Programs:
EMERGE Young Artists Program—9th to 12th grade
Classroom Collaboration—6th to 8th grade
After School with Art Room—5th grade
