| C7 My body lay crumpled on the concrete …. August 17, 2012… plummeted from a second story balcony C7 – pulverized Surgery, metal plates, screws, mesh and remaining bone fragments – surgeons gave my family a grim prognosis. I would likely have no use of my triceps, making it impossible to straighten my arms, no ability to use my hands, and finally, I would likely be paralyzed from the chest down. I was a quadriplegic. Against the odds, I walked out of that hospital. |
