The Dallas Arboretum Hosts Family Fun Festivities

Family Fun Weekend Activities: Main Garden
The Dallas Arboretum invites the community to partake in Family Fun Weekend during Autumn at the Arboretum, sponsored by Rogers O’Brien Construction. Guests can trick-or-treat throughout the gardens, decorate pumpkins, get their faces painted, pet animals in the petting zoo and listen to live music all weekend long. On Saturday, October 26, enjoy a live performance from The Berkner Ramblers at noon in the Entry Plaza and a performance by TBA Band at 2 p.m. at the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn. On Sunday, October 27, enjoy live music featuring The Texas Boys Choir performance at 1 p.m. on the DeGolyer Pergola and The Monkey Love Band from 2-4 p.m. on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn. Watch a special night screening of the movie, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown on at 7 p.m. on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn. Guests are encouraged to bring their own trick-or-treating bags. **Family fun activities are complimentary with paid garden admission.
Trick-or-Treating in the Children’s Adventure Garden
October 26, Select Galleries of the Children’s Adventure Garden
6-9 p.m., $10 per person
Don’t miss out on a special spooky late night at the Rory Meyer’s Children’s Adventure Garden. Tricks and treats at every turn! Costumes encouraged for a NEW festive and frightful costume contest. (Be sure to stop by our kooky costume spot in the entry plaza! Awards are given at 8 p.m.). Check the website for guidelines regarding appropriate costume attire.
