On Saturday, Oct. 5 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., Double Wide is teaming up with Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas and Texas Equal Access (TEA) Fund to throw the third annual Friends with Benefit fundraiser. This charity event will include live music, great vibes and an opportunity to donate to a good cause.
There will also be a silent auction with work donated from artists and artisans including William Bubba Flint, Joey Seeman, Scott Horn, Andy Don Emmons, Jackie Dunn Smith, Dan Phillips, Howard Kelley and much more! Local artists will perform live on stage before a drag performance. Artists include Remy Reilly, Frankie Leonie, Maya Piata and Cure For Paranoia. Don’t miss out on the prize raffles filled with donated goods and services from local businesses. Come with an empty stomach and enjoy the best mini-burgers in town from Easy Slider food truck. The fun has just begun with the Vibrator Race. Create memories worth a thousand words with Photo Wagon’s photo booth to turn the madness into magical memories. Don’t forget Miss Alden Mills and Miss Nacho Contreras will be there air streaming the event. There will be a collection of a $10 donation for entry but guests can (and are encouraged) to give more.
