Join us on September 28th, 6-8pm, as Pam Tullos shares the inspiration behind her new series “Mustang: America’s Living Legend”. Pam’s passion for horses goes back to her childhood, but as most horsewomen know, it is a passion that is never outgrown. In 2009, she adopted a mustang at Fort Worth’s Mustang Makeover. With the help of a professional trainer, she welcomed the challenge of training a wild horse, during which she realized that mustangs are very trainable and willing to learn. There are currently close to 50,000 mustangs in holding pens awaiting adoption. Pam’s desire is to share the beauty of these wild horses and their story through art. Pam considers herself a contemporary impressionist painter. She desires to capture the essence of the subject without incorporating every detail. She works in oils and acrylics and paints subjects ranging from landscapes and florals, to animals and people. Pam is past president of Lake Granbury Art Association. Her paintings have been juried into regional art shows including the Stars of Texas Art Exhibition in Brownwood, Fall Festival of Art and the Rio Brazos Exhibition in Granbury, Ft. Worth’s Art in the Garden and Spirit of the West Exhibition in Weatherford, TX. |
