Award Winners of the IAA 2019 Animal Awards Competition

For the 18th year, Irving Art Association has hosted a competition on animal art. Formerly a national show, this is the second year we have featured a regional scope, putting the emphasis on DFW area artists.

Any animal species was accepted as subject matter for works, including wildlife and domestic, as well as creatures from fantasy, mythology, and Cryptozoology. In 2019, the special challenge category is that essentially Texas animal, the Armadillo.
