Artistic Anatomy workshop on Saturday, September 14th starting at 1:30. Join us for an afternoon of studying Anatomy at the Yoga Factory (Dallas location)! For Artists, Yoga students or anyone interested in learning about Anatomy. We will be drawing (open to any level) and feel free to bring a sketchbook — hand outs provided.
Allison Gillies (Professor at North Lake College) will lead you through how to visualize anatomy as an artist would, by seeing and identifying anatomical landmarks and forms of musculature. We will break down the anatomy of yoga poses- while studying anatomy in action. Gesture drawing of poses is an option. Encouraging all to draw along in this fun and interactive workshop!
