Abilene’s CCAN 2019 entries due August 19

CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
The Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene is excited to announce our third National Juried Art Competition: CCAN 2019. 9/13/19 – 11/2/19

The field of interest for this competition includes painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, digital and fiber arts. This competition will be national as well as local in its reach. San Francisco- based watercolor artist, Gary Bukovnik has agreed to be our judge for this exciting competition for 2019.

Not only can we boast a nationally known artist as our judge, but we will be presenting cash prizes that range from $500 per category to $1500 for best of show. We will host a full day of activities to kick off the exhibition on September 14th, including artist talks and panel discussions, award ceremony and artist reception, followed by a ticketed dinner. We are very excited about bringing a competition of this caliber to the Center for Contemporary Arts and to Abilene.
