Printmaking and the Spontaneous Mark
Are you curious about prints and printmaking? This exciting workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to learn about a printmaking technique: Monotypes (one of a kind prints) will be explored. We will be working with Akua Non-toxic and water-based Inks. Some materials are provided. There will be extra paper to purchase. We will be using an Etching Press and Pin Press. Dress for mess. All levels of (art) experience and knowledge are welcome.
About the instructor:
Junanne Peck is an interdisciplinary artist, with printmaking as her primary art form. Peck is a Demo Artist for Akua Ink. She is a seasoned educator and Teaching Artist in the DFW area. Peck is a member of Women Printmakers of Austin and North Texas Printmakers Guild. Junanne is a TXO Artist (Texas Original Artist) selected by the Texas Commission on the Arts. Her works are featured in solo and invitational exhibits.
