Gel Plates and OPEN acrylic Mono-printmaking: Using OPEN Acrylic paint on Gel Plates to make unique monograph prints. Once you start the fun won’t stop. We will use a variety of techniques with stencils, scrapers and shapers or just making it as you go to make a great monoprint.OPEN Acrylic is a slow drying acrylic that gives you more opportunities to work with acrylic such as blending and using it as a printmaking ink. We can even do a painterly style monoprint while working with the transparency of the gel plate and an image underneath for a fantastic result.
