The Friends of the Bath House Cultural Center present the 3rd annual Lake-a-Palooza! Music Festival on April 27, from 12 noon to 9 PM. The event is free and open to the public.
The Bath House Cultural Center, located by the shores of White Rock Lake, has long stood for arts in Dallas. Along with its support for local and regional theater and gallery events, promoting great local music is also a primary focus of the center.
Music
and nature lovers will enjoy live music of many genres in multiple
stages, along with food and beverages, children activities, community
organizations and vendors.
The festival also includes a special music-related photography exhibition by
Buddy Magazine featuring art by Ron McKeown, Chuck Flores, Jesus Carrillo, Kirby Warnock, and Darleen McAdams.
The festival includes performances by special music guest, Urban Gypsy, featuring original Toadies members Lisa Umbarger and Charles Mooney III.
Music lineup also includes performances by Frankie
Leonie, Mike Haskins Experience, Jimmy Baldwin/Vivador, Pool Lights,
Bnois King, Annie Benjamin, Mack Price, Rickey Gene Wright & Duck
Creek Station, Carolyn Lee Jones, Len Barnett, The Ackermans, Rob
Holbert Group, Bandan Koro, Anita Martinez Folklórico Dancers, and others.
