CULTURAL COLLABORATION – The 2nd Annual ART214 Juried Exhibition – A collaboration of five OCA cultural centers during Dallas Arts Month. Juried by Susan Lecky, Nychelle Grant, Lucas Martell, and Arthur Pena. Curated by Du Chau. Cultural Centers are participating – visit the BATH HOUSE CULTURAL CENTER, Open during gallery walk from 12 to 8 pm. At the LATINO CULTURAL CENTER is Retro-Mático: The Art of Jose Vargas. A retrospective exhibition of mixed media art by local artist and curator, Jose Vargas 10 to 5 pm. AT MOODY PERFORMANCE HALL also 2nd Annual ART214 Juried Exhibition – 12 to 5 pm. The OAK CLIFF CULTURAL CENTER presents Written and Witnessed – 12 to 5 PM.

Join DADA for the 2019 Scholarship Awards & Exhibition – May 9 from 6-8pm One Arts Plaza – Exhibition May 5 – 24 Awards will be announced at the Reception. The goal is to give young artists the opportunity for recognition, exhibition and scholarships. This juried exhibition features young artists from among Booker T. Washington High School’s best visual art students. 2019

The scholarship fund benefits young artists pursuing the study of visual arts in higher education and provides funds for tuition and supplies. In addition, the Award includes participation in a professional art exhibition, awards reception and the opportunity for a DADA internship. |
