My name is Kathryn and I am the Special Events Coordinator for Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. I’m reaching out to you in regards to an opportunity to have your work featured in our annual SummerFest Atrium Art Tour. We are currently accepting submissions for pieces that could work in conjunction with our SummerFest theme – The Adventures of Peter Pan!
We will showcase up to 12 artists’ pieces in our sprawling indoor atrium all summer long. Each display will include a bio, photo, and contact information for the artist. We expect over 300,000 visitors to our resort during SummerFest, meaning that each piece of art will receive maximum exposure at no cost to the artist.
In appreciation for participating, each artist will receive a complimentary one-night stay, as well as dinner for two at our resort. This will allow each artist to experience the Art Tour (as well as our other summer festivities) as our guest.
