This one day class will emphasize the importance of getting the correct proportions in a face using comparative measurement, and making effective light and shadow work to help in depicting a realistic 3-dimensional head. The class will be using a variety of traditional materials such as charcoal, conte, and pastel on toned paper. We will work from photographs and cast heads.
