On February 7, 2019, from 7-10 PM, Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary invites you to join in a special evening celebrating the opening of our new exhibit, “Feathered Friends: 13 Texas Endangered and Threatened Birds.”
This exhibit features an artistic bird watch within the museum as these birds are represented by fourteen local award-winning artists.
This bird-focused evening will offer the opportunity to meet many of the artists included in the exhibit. You’ll also enjoy a special program on bird migration utilizing our Magic Planet exhibit, a 4-foot spherical digital display. Plus, look for other activities including the opportunity to mimic different bird beaks as you enjoy snacks. Watch for more information coming soon at www.heardmuseum.org/exhibitgrandopening.
The first 10 registrants for this fun evening event will receive a free bird-friendly plant courtesy of Shades Of Green, Inc.
Pre-registration is required for this event and tickets are limited. Tickets to this special after-hours event are just $15 for the public and $13 for Heard Museum members. All ages are welcome at this event.
