South Dallas Cultural Center February Events

Black Beauty, Glitz and Glamour is a collection of fashion and photography born out of the Sepia Photographic Archives from the African American Museum.
Designers Patrick Wright and Pucci (Art of Pucci) Lisenbee align the walls and spaces within the Arthello Beck Art Gallery – unveiling their never-before-seen fashion collection and highlighting the beauty and accomplishments of historic and iconic African American women.

Opening Reception: Saturday, February 2, 2019 | 6 – 8 p.m.
The reception and exhibition are free and open to the general public.

The Texas Theatre and South Dallas Cultural Center are proud to present the 2nd annual Black Filmmaker Series in conjunction with Black History Month at the South Dallas Cultural Center. Co-presented by the African American Museum of Dallas and City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs.
